Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter´s Basilica

One of the world´s largest art collections, a museum located in an independent state, where the head of the Christian catholic church lives: in few words, the Vatican Museums!
With a 3,5 hours tour we can cover the most important galleries (the Pinecone Courtyard, the Octagonal Courtyard, the Galleries of the Candelabras, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, Raphael´s Rooms and more), the Sistine Chapel and, in addition to this, Saint Peter´s Basilica.

This is a tour related to faith, indeed, but also to art, as the collection goes from ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman pieces, to Renaissance paintings, to modern and contemporary art.

We´ll walk through the rooms of the old papal apartments (have you heard of the Borgias?), and we´ll discuss the genius of the most famous Renaissance artists, such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Raffaello, and Michelangelo.
Please note that there is often a long line to enter the Museums, so a “skip the line” reservation is strongly suggested.
